Internationalization and External Affairs
The Internationalization and External Affairs (IEA) Office offers services that foster local and international connections among students, faculty members, researchers, and non-teaching personnel through initiatives such as academic and cultural exchange programs, research collaborations, and the establishment of partnerships with educational institutions and associations. These initiatives aim to help mold individuals to be globally competitive in our constantly evolving world.
OBJECTIVES
- Forge partnerships and linkages locally and internationally, which will provide mobility to De La Salle Medical and Health Sciences Institute, especially to its students, academic teaching faculty, academic service faculty, researchers, and non-teaching personnel.
- Initiate academic programs, research collaborations and scholarly activities which broaden perspective and experiences and promote mutually beneficial and enriching partnerships with the local and international educational institutions and associations.
- Mold and generate globally-competitive Lasallians who can easily adapt to a diverse multicultural setting through curricular and co-curricular internalization learning experiences.
ACADEMIC AFFILIATIONS AND ENGAGEMENTS
The Academic Affiliations and Engagements Unit establishes partnerships, connections, and collaborations with institutions, organizations, and individuals locally and abroad. It aims to forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions, promote student and faculty mobility, support research initiatives, and showcase DLSMHSI’s academic achievements, expertise, and contributions on the international stage.
EXTERNAL AFFAIRS AND ENGAGEMENTS
The External Affairs and Engagements Unit serves as the bridge between an organization and the global community. It aims to develop partnerships with international organizations, non-government agencies, and corporations, facilitate relations by representing the organization's interests in international forums, and promote cultural exchange programs, events, and initiatives to foster understanding and collaboration between different nations and cultures.
