Lasallian Formation and Ministry Department
Lasallian Formation and Ministry Department (LFMD). The LFMD is responsible for facilitating accompaniment programs and providing volunteer opportunities designed to nurture a Lasallian community that responds to the call of God to live our Lasallian charism faithfully. This is the Department’s contribution to our shared responsibility of ensuring that our Institution remains steadfast in providing quality services rooted in and manifesting our Lasallian vocation.
The Lasallian Formation and Ministry Department is composed of two united teams. On the one hand is the student formation team. Their ministry is to accompany learners in their holistic development in the Lasallian charism through initiatives such as recollections, retreats, and volunteer and community-building opportunities.
On the other hand is the adult formation team. Their ministry is to accompany Lasallian Partners in deepening their appreciation of the Lasallian vocation and exploring how each one can live the Lasallian values in their lives, especially in carrying out their respective ministries. This will be done by offering personal, impactful, and relevant accompaniment programs rooted in the expressed needs of our Lasallian Partners.
Grounded in the Lasallian charism of faith and service, the Liturgical Ministry and Pastoral Care integrate liturgical ministry through active participation in the celebration of the sacraments, prayers, and devotions, and pastoral care through spiritual guidance, to holistically nurture the community’s spiritual well-being.
Student Formation Ministry is dedicated to developing students’ character values and spiritual lives by integrating academic pursuits with social and faith-based activities.
Adult Formation Ministry ensures that the programs and services offered are relevant to the lived experiences of Lasallian Partners.
Needs-based recollection can collaborate with the Lasallian Formation and Ministry Department, should they wish to experience a recollection formulated and facilitated based on the needs and interests of their group.
